AeraMax Pro Commercial Air Purifiers
AeraMax Pro is a Fellowes commercial air-purifier family with multiple form factors. The right configuration depends on room conditions, occupancy, placement, electrical access, filter service, controls, and the current manufacturer documentation. Pettus can help organize those decisions; final equipment and performance claims should follow the selected model’s current technical data.
Compare the application before narrowing the model
Fellowes currently presents five commercial paths. Coverage, mounting, electrical requirements, filters and available controls vary by exact configuration.
AeraMax Pro AM2
Start here for the compact end of the commercial line, then verify current room guidance and mounting options.
AeraMax Pro AM3
Compare current wall and floor configurations for the target room and service plan.
AeraMax Pro AM4
Current listings include wall, plug-in and stand variants, with PureView available on selected configurations.
AeraMax Pro AM4 FLEX
Fellowes positions the current FLEX model for extra-large spaces where casters support repositioning.
AeraMax Pro AM5 CR-1
Fellowes documents a recessed unit designed to integrate with many standard grid-ceiling systems.
See what changes between configurations
The local display and mounting path can change the user experience and the installation scope.

PureView display
Fellowes documents PureView on selected commercial models to show real-time room air-quality and machine status information.

AeraMax Pro AM4
A wall-mounted path preserves floor area but brings mounting, power, circulation and service access into the project scope.
Size and place the commercial purifier deliberately
Document each room
Capture square footage, ceiling height, occupancy, doors, furniture, operating hours and current ventilation context.
Set the air-change goal
Use the project team’s desired air changes per hour to interpret current manufacturer coverage guidance.
Choose placement
Compare wall, plug-in, floor, mobile and recessed paths with power, clearances, noise and service access.
Plan upkeep
Confirm filter type, replacement cadence, ownership, spare-filter storage, controls and warranty requirements.
AeraMax Pro FAQs
Which AeraMax Pro model covers my room?
Use the exact current item’s documented coverage at the intended air-change rate. Room geometry, ceiling height, doors, occupancy and placement also matter; a model-family name alone is not enough.
What is EnviroSmart?
Fellowes describes EnviroSmart as technology that monitors occupancy and air-quality conditions so compatible units can respond to room changes. Confirm the current sensor and control behavior for the selected item.
Is PureView included on every unit?
No blanket assumption should be made. Fellowes currently lists PureView on selected configurations. Verify the exact item number and current product page.
Can the product be recessed or moved between rooms?
Those are separate application paths. The AM5 CR-1 is currently documented as recessed; AM4 FLEX is the mobile large-space path. Most other mounting and floor options are model-specific.
